Dr. Pierre Akilimali is Professor at Kinshasa School of Public Health and Adjunct Faculty at Tulane University. Pierre holds the position of Research Director at both the Patrick Kayembe Research Center and the National Public Health Institute (NPHI) in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). He possesses a wealth of experience in assisting government stakeholders in the development, execution, and oversight of health programs. Its main focus is converting evidence into policy.
